Temperatures are slowly moderating with a steady warming trend heading into the weekend where highs will warm into the 80s.

With the Vernal Equinox (beginning of Spring) coming this Friday (10:46 AM EDT to be exact), the length of day and night are nearly equal. However, due to a bit of a bonus from the atmosphere bending of light (refraction), equal daylength and night was on March 16. Now the daylight is longer than the nights until around September 25.
